Aviation Review 1993 DVD

In addition to the regular airshow scene, Aviation Review is a compilation of the highlights from 1993. The maiden flight of the rebuilt Blenheim, the airshow debut at Biggin Hill of the source classic jet flight's Venom and Vampire team, the 75th anniversary celebrations of the Royal Air Force and the last flights of the Lightning, Victor and Vulcan are all covered in this programme, originally commissioned for FlyPast and AFM magazines.

In addition to the regular airshow stars, 1993 saw some rare appearances. At BAe Woodford arrivals for static included a Mil 8, Mirage III and F5 while the flying display boasted the first UK appearance of the Beriev A 40 Albatross jet flying boat.

The Soviets were also in prominence at the IAT Fairford show with the Tupolev Tu-95 Bear, this is captured on arrival prior to the show. Extensive coverage of the RAF's celebrations at Marham including the practice flypast  and an impressive Buccaneer 16 ship flypast at Manston are some of the events covered where the public did not have access.
