Warbirds over Wanaka
This short video makes a refreshing change from the UK displays having been drawn from material sent to us by an aircraft enthusiast living in New Zealand. It is not HiFi stereo and the technical quality is a generation below our other videos but the rare sight of a Flair Utility and Royal New Zealand Air Force Skyhawk more than make up.
(USAF) Upper Heyford Sky Pageant '90
Explosive stars of this video are the 6 home based F111's and their airfield attack. The Fighter Collection is also out in force with no fewer than 5 types including the P63 Kingcobra.
Manchester Airshow '90
Take-offs from Barton Airfields grass strip can be quite dramatic and the tiny CrisCris literally bounce their way into the air. We concentrate on the 'thrills and spills' displays here but the giant jet Starlifter deserves inclusion through its rarity.
RAF College Cranwell Airshow '90
Trainer types feature at the home of the RAF's Number 1 Flying Training School, especially Jet Provost. Our cameras also caught some exciting action on the arrivals day prior to the show.
USAF Mildenhall Air Fete '90
A USAF base, Mildenhall always delivers something special and this year proved to be a vintage one with aVictor in the flying display, and a notable demonstration by FAA Sea Harriers with FRADU Hunters. A spirited display by a B52 pretending to be an A10 will be lasting memory to many.
La Ferte Alais '90
Not a jet in sight at this French equivalent of Shuttleworth and Great Warbirds rolled into one. We include aircraft like the Hurel Dubois 34 and Swiss C36 which are impressive aircraft and extremely rare visitors to the UK. This was the P63's last show before the tragic accident.
Boscombe Down '90
This is a 'highlights' excerpt from Volume 10 and concentrates on RAF elements including the Phantom Scramble and 'Battle of Britain' set piece but we also include the Australian F111's dramatic torching demo.
