Yeovilton and Culdrose Airshows 1994 DVD

The Royal Naval Air Stations at Yeovilton and Culdrose are the two biggest in the UK and both opened their gates to massive shows in 1994.

The brand new Sea Harrier FRS 2 launches from Yeovilton's 'ski jump' and the Italian Tornado does nearly the same from a hard runway! Indeed, the Italians were out in force at these events with rare and spectacular displays by the new Avanti, G222, MB339 and iced by the Frecce Tricolori, arguably the world's best national aerobatic team.

FRADU's beautiful vintage Hunters make the link with several historic gems including an early Navy helicopter, the Hiller UH12.

The giant CH53, agile Lynx and 3 ship Sea King team display the power and manoeuvrability of the modern helicopter and the video climaxes with an explosive tactical attack by the massed might of the Fleet Air Arm and Royal Marines.
