Shuttleworth Pageant 1994 DVD
In 1944 Mrs Dorothy Shuttleworth founded the Richard Ormonde Shuttleworth Remembrance Trust in memory of her only son who had been killed in RAF service.
Richard Shuttleworth's outstanding collection of historic aircraft has been added to over the years and it is no exaggeration to say that nowhere else in the world will you see such a calvacade of aviation history actually flying.
Glorious weather combined with a maximum effort by Shuttleworth's engineers and volunteers and no fewer than 28 of their aircraft were displayed, almost all flying. It is quite possible that this magnificent spectacle will never be repeated.
This video features every aircraft displayed on the day and, by Jerry Mead, narration is kept to a minimum in favour of the evocative location sound.
