Celebrating Peace and Commemorating Sacrifice The emotions that surrounded VE Day were evoked with displays from the Red Arrows and Typhoon wearing the colours of a Battle of Britain Hurricane.
VE Day Salute B-17G ‘Sally B' led the VE Day centerpiece - a mass flypast with C-47 Skytrain, Catalina, Beech 18, Mustangs and P-40F Warhawk.
