Lt Commander Chris Gotke kicked off the displays flying the beautiful Seafire which sounds wonderful in clear stereo location sound. You have the option of two versions of the soundtrack so that you can listen to the commentary or just hear the aircraft sounds throughout the programme.

You'll get an on board view during the Seafire from an in-cockpit minicam, the same is true for the fantastic display by the Spanish Air Force Patrulla Aguila Team and the Royal Navy Raiders Parachute Display Team
There are additional interactive in-cockpit special features for each of these which give you the option to choose between watching in-cockpit or from the ground during their displays.

The remarkable V-Jet formation means this programme should be cherished, a truly unique spectacle. We will never again see Vulcan in formation with Sea Vixen and two Vampires as this was Vulcan's last airshow season and last appearance at Yeovilton.

Participants from overseas included the Vampires of the Norwegian Airforce Historical Squadron, Czech Air Force L-159 ALCA and a magnificent role demonstration from the two Rafales and two Super Etendards of the French Navy.

The home team were out in force too of course, with Sea King HC4s and Merlin HC3s appearing for the first and last time together. They joined Lynx, Wildcats, Hawks and Army Air Corps Apaches in the superb commando assault finale. Excellent camera positions add to the drama as the Royal Marines take on the bad guys!
