The Duxford Year 2013 Double DVD / Blu-ray
This 4hr 40 minute Double-DVD presents the highlights of 5 days action from The Imperial War Museum's May, September and October showsat Duxford. The weather at each event was ideal for filming with clear air and some dramatic cloud back-drops.
Locally based and visiting warbirds flew some imaginative and nostalgic formations; the Eagle Squadron P-47, P-51, Spitfire and Hurricane with the Red Arrows; TFC's Hawks plus Wildcat and Bearcat.
Modern military included Typhoon, Apache, La Patrouille France but the star for many was a giant Boeing 747 8F Jumbo Jet.
