Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Weekend [2010] DVD / Blu-ray

from £20.00
sold out

The Duxford Spring Airshow 2010 launched the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's programme to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the decisive 1940 air battle. They mustered 2 Spitfires, 2 Hurricanes, a Lancaster and Dakota and were joined by warbirds from other collections to present a fitting tribute to “The Few”.

The entire history of British military aviation was represented in the air from WW1 Bristol Fighter and SE5a, through the thirties with the Nimrod, post-war jets and support types to the present day with, in particular, the imaginatively presented Tucano in WW2 camouflage.

Of no relevance whatsoever the local, rarely seen and imaginative Marshall's Formation Team will be the show stars for many.

Our cockpit cameras were in the Bristol Fighter and Hawker Hunter and you can select the cockpit view interactively using the angle button on the DVD player's remote control.
