Airshow Action 9 DVD
PlanesTV has been recording airshows for over twenty five years. In this programme we present some classic airshow action from our recent programmes as well as a look back 20 years for some aviation nostalgia.
We visit IWM Duxford who, in 2015, boasted both the return of the Bristol Blenheim and the superb sight and sound of 15 Spitfires and 2 Seafires in a mass formation. We'll also take a look back to a Duxford show in 1996, where we were lucky enough to film the likes of the Harrier Gr7 and the majestic Concorde.
Foreign military action includes a special formation of Swedish SAAB jets and B-52 Stratofortress flexing its muscles at a show in the Czech Republic. Last but not least we say an emotional final farewell to Vulcan, carrying out her final flight at the end of 2015.
Interactive In-cockpit
You can go on board during a selection of displays. Choose interactive in-cockpit on the main menu, select a display and switch between ground and in-cockpit views using the angle button on your remote control.
