Victory Airshow 1995 DVD

The 50th Anniversary of Victory in Europe was marked by a huge range of public and military celebrations. Duxford Airfield was the base for many of the historic aircraft over-flying London in a unique tribute.

We glimpse the public festivities surrounding these much broadcast events with a camera in London to record the Flypast and an airborne camera too, but the majority of this video presents the aviation action form 3 big VE day airshows. The biggest by far was the now legendary Fighter Meet at North Weald but we also draw on the Imperial War Museum event at Duxford and the Shuttleworth Collection's VE Day show at Old Warden. You'll see 50 different aircraft in 80 minutes of thrilling action including several airborne and air-to-air sequences.
