The 1991 Sky Pageant featured a variety of NATO types with rare outings for an F4 'wild weasel' Phantom, a Fouga Magister of the Belgian Air Forceand incredible aerobatics by a Fokker F27 Troopship. Upper Heyford's static display was especially big with more unusual visitors and a welcome airing for a Republic F105 Thunderchief airframe used for battle damage repair.
Stars of the show were undoubtedly the US Air Force Thunderbirds aerial demonstration team flying 6 F16 Fighting Falcons.
