RAF Upper Heyford 1991 DVD

The 1991 Sky Pageant featured a variety of NATO types with rare outings for an F4 'wild weasel' Phantom, a Fouga Magister of the Belgian Air Forceand incredible aerobatics by a Fokker F27 Troopship. Upper Heyford's static display was especially big with more unusual visitors and a welcome airing for a Republic F105 Thunderchief airframe used for battle damage repair.

Stars of the show were undoubtedly the US Air Force Thunderbirds aerial demonstration team flying 6 F16 Fighting Falcons. This video devotes a full 16 minutes to their polished performance, both on the ground and in the air, drawing material not only from Upper Heyford but also Lakenheath and Bentwaters where they also displayed.
