Biggin Hill Air Fair 1991 DVD
The Biggin Hill International Air Fair is a 2 day event held in the Spring at the Historic RAF Battle of Britain base south east of London.
It's a very big show, attracting a variety of displays both military and civil. The enthusiast is always rewarded by something unusual like this years fly-bys by a Northwest Airlines Boeing 747.
Notable displays this year representing the breadth of the show were the WWI replicas, the Mosquito, the F15 Eagle and the Patrouille ECCO display team. The most spectacular item was probably the Dutch F27 Troopship although the Vulcan's 'touch and go' takes some beating.
SPECIAL NOTE: This video is 'all action' with location sound in Hi-Fi stereo. There are no interviews and no dubbed music or dubbed commentary.
CONTENTS:
Boeing 747, Zlin and Cris Cris (Brittany Ferries), Pilatus PC7 (Patroville ECCO), Tucano, Jet Provost, Jaguar, WWI Replicas, Fairey Firefly, Lynx, Hawk, F27 Troopship, Bulldog, Mosquito, Hurricane Spitfire and Lancaster (BBMF), Vulcan, Me 109, "The Red Arrows", Stampe and Extra 230 (Flying Crusaders Duo), Alouette III (The Grasshoppers), F15 Eagle, Stearman (Crunchie Flying Circus), B17 Flying Fortress, Pearl Harbour re-enactment - 'Zeros' (Havards), Beech 18, Catalina, B17, Avenger, Corsair and 'Zero', Shackleton, and others.
