Military Airshow '92 is a compilation of the very best airshow action featuring a whole range of fighters, bombers, helicopters and transport displayed in the UK in 1992 introduced by David Oliver, editor of Airforces Monthly.

The oldest and newest are featured, so whilst saying goodbye to types like the Phantom, Buccaneer and F-111 we thrill to the sight of Rafale, Gripen, F-117 Stealth and new derivatives like the Harrier GR.7 and F-15E Strike Eagle.

Rare displays by the F-14 Tomcat, TR-1, Mirage III and French Jaguars complement the 'regulars' like the Hawk, Tornados, F-16, F-18, Mirage 2000 etc. Heavy Metal includes B-52 Stratofortress, C-5 Galaxy, C-141 Starlifter, C130 Hercules, Nimrod, Tristar and VC-10. Some amazing helicopter displays include the Apache, CH-53, EH-101, Mil Mi-34 and the might of the Army Air Corps in the 80 helicopter the 'mass approach'.

It must be said that the '92 show stars were the Russians with types like the V-STOL Forger and Freestyle, the MiG-29 and Su-27 fighters and the breathtaking Backfire bomber.
