The 2019 IWM Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show marked the many links the airfield has to aviation cinema. The event marked the 50th anniversary of the release of the ‘Battle of Britain’ film in September 1969.

Scenes from the film were brought to life by the superb Battle of Britain scenario featuring 4 Buchon, 3 Spitfires and 4 Hurricanes. As is tradition the show was ended by a mass Spitfire finale, with no fewer than 16 of the type taking part.

This programme focuses on the action in the air with all displays included.
