The 2010 Abingdon Air and Country show was up against some pretty unfavourable weather conditions and a last minute restriction on the use of the runway for fixed wing aircraft meant aircraft had to operate from surrounding airfields. Despite this the event's first foreign military participation from the RNLAF F-16 and debut 2010 displays from the RAF Hawk, Tucano and Tutor helped deliver an entertaining day for those who braved the wind and rain.
The Classic Flight DC-3 was captained by Julian Firth who put on a spirited performance over Abingdon. The crew were kind enough to fly with our in-cockpit minicam which recorded their onboard communication as well as the view from the left seat.
An extended display recording is included on the interactive disk 3 of British Airshow 2008.
